To offer water protection around the pipe vents on a metal roof you will have to use a pipe flashing created specifically for the corrugated surface of a metal roof.
A roof boot for a metal roof will also have a heat rating.
This is done because you need to overlap the flashing.

Determine the type of vents you wish to install.

Run a tape measure over the diameter of the pipe and add 1 2 to 3 4 inch to that before making the cut.
Various size vents will come.
Apply silicone caulking around the area where the vent pipe penetrates the roof.
The flashing will be fitted with an aluminum flange.
The metal i m using is called crinkle black i purchased all my materials at h.
Look for one that is heat rated to at least 212 degrees f.
Prepare the roof area.
This will involve determining the placement of the vents.
Insert the roofing membrane with the backing removed through the pipe.
Trim the edges of the roofing membrane by an inch all around.
This may include the round whirlybird types that are placed.
