This is a pretty common procedure when using roof sips. Typical installation is done with galvanized ring shank nails. Align and attach the panels at the corner. The panels slip over a wall plate which needs to be set half an inch from the building edge to ensure that the panels are fully supported.

For longer panels don t go more than 6 or 8 feet between stickers. This is part 3 of how to build a shed playhouse. Sips need to be fully supported during installation. Below the top of the foundation but the lower the vinyl siding is installed the better.

Use the wider starter strip.
