Use a cloth to scrub the surface by hand after about 20 30 minutes and completely dry it.
If you have particularly stubborn soap scum you can try applying boiling vinegar very very carefully.
The vinegar is what helps to actually break down the soap scum on your shower.
Experiment with pastes made of baking soda water or vinegar and dish soap.
White vinegar is excellent for.
Once the freshly cleaned area has been fully rinsed repeat the above mentioned cleaning process on the rest of your acrylic shower taking care to clean one area at time.
Then when you combine the baking soda with the vinegar it forms carbonic acid.
Pour a cup of baking soda into a small bowl and add enough white vinegar to make a paste.
Heavily spray the shower door or surface that you want to clean.
The film will melt away.
Coat the door and keep applying as the vinegar dries.
Wash away as much liquefied grime and cleaning solution as you can.
Sprinkle vinegar on your glass shower door leave for a few minutes.
The mixture will fizz and when it stops dip a microfiber cloth or sponge into the paste and apply to the glass doors.
This is an extremely unstable mixture and will immediately start to break down hence the fizzing.
Let the paste remain on the glass for at least 15 minutes.
You want to keep the door covered in wet vinegar for at least 5 minutes.
Add equal parts very hot vinegar and dawn dish soap to the spray bottle.
Pour one cup of baking soda into a small plastic bowl and add about one fourth cup of distilled white vinegar or just enough to form a thick paste.
Spray glass door and close to allow the solution to set and drip back into the shower.
Once you ve given the shower a preliminary rinse go over the acrylic using a soft microfiber towel or sponge to remove any remaining residue.
Once the mixture stops fizzing use a sponge to apply it to your shower and tub.
A few ingredients in the home will get rid of stubborn soap scum in a flash.
